I found about an interesting hurricane that did not impact land but had impacts on shipping in 1853. The storm was reportedly a Cape Verde storm that formed around August 30th and dissipated around September 10th. Very interestingly, it had (reportedly) a minimum pressure of 924 millibars and a peak intensity of 130KT (150MPH) sustained winds. Here is the storm's track...
