I finally found a couple of 12 pound butterball turkeys for frying on
Thanksgiving! That was a long search - there's only one grocery store
open in Hancock County MS after Katrina, I had to go to Gulfport, where
the super wal mart had three left, Winn Dixie was out, as were two other stores.

So I've got my turkeys to fry, which is wha makes Thanksgiving extra
yummy around here! :)

The Sam's Club in Slidell has plenty of turkeys- bought 2 myself this weekend. Having a hard time finding anything else to go with the turkeys, but at least we'll have those!

Mike.... we're lucky to get anything down here right now! The shelves are pretty bare, and if you do find something you think you might want/need, you'd better buy it right then. There's no guaranty it will be there later.
