I know about the shear, but my point is that it is a lot of convection for late Nov.

Doesn't matter... shear will kill anything that tries to develop.

Actually it does. Lot's of shear and it's below 10N.

But...it's also not winter yet. Still one month to go until winter. :P

No I'm pretty sure that's what normal late November ITCZs look like. A lot of shear induced convection.
