#1 Postby azsnowman » Sat Nov 12, 2005 11:38 am

OK....who's got their Christmas decorations up?

I *might* do it today before it gets HOT again   It's been in the "70's" up here in the mountains and I CANNOT get in the mood to decorate HOWEVER yesterday WOULD have been a GOOD day, it ACTUALLY stayed in the upper 30's to low 40's ALL day and it was 18° this morning, FINALLY!!

Most of mine and my Mother's were damaged. We have to start all over again. My big stuff was stored at her home. I bought a few things at Walmart today.

I don't decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, usually right after. I think they put Christmas stuff out way too early. Before Halloween? :P

Not until 2 weeks before Christmas. I have a very hyper grandson that will not leave the tree and presents alone so nothing will actually go under the tree until after midnight of the 24.

I got a fiber optics pre-lit tree up. Does that count?

The weekend after Thanksgiving. We put up alot of lights outside I mean alot. Sometimes it can take us 2 weekends to get it done. Same with my parents they put up more than we do. Inside the house is not as bad. And they do not start selling trees here till around the 1st of Dec. So I have to wait. I think I want to pull all the decorations down earlier this year than previous, because each year it gets bigger and bigger. :D

Yep, that counts, Stooge! I love mine - pull it out of
the box, shape it, and, plug it in! It's not going
up until after Thanksgiving, though, along with the other
decorations. I never put up lights, outside - that's too
much trouble for a weenie like me!

Whenever Debi gets a burr under her saddle, the Christmas decorations go up.
