Coffee drinkers?

#1 Postby azsnowman » Tue Nov 08, 2005 7:32 pm

OK you caffiene holics, how much coffee in a NORMAL day do you consume? Me, at LEAST 4 cups in the morning (from 0400 till 0630), then I hit Starbucks on the way to the PD (yes......5 days a WEEK at $3.50 a POP) , then we have a pot going 8 hours in investigations, so......yeah, that's why I'm WIRED all the time!

One of the bigger sized cups in the morning, ya know the metal lined ones. In the winter when the weather is cooler I tend to drink more. Maybe one in the late afternoon, or one after the kids go to bed and I am out to play Santa and do some late night shopping. :D

4 or 5 cups a day for me. Two before going to work - I like to take my time in the morning. One or two at work in the morning and one in the afternoon during our flavored coffee treat time at around 2:00 pm :D

Well, you said coffee so my limit is 3, but I usually have 2 cups a day.

I get more caffeine per day from either hot or iced tea and one Pepsi!

Former beloved Cincinnati Reds manager Sparky Anderson was addicted to coffee, he had an extremely high number of servings a day. I think he took time off from managing the Tigers at the time, don't think he went into rehab but what he consumed in 24 hours was the most I ever heard about. I want to say something like 20 cups a day! Wish I could remember the exact count. He did lick this addiction.

I am a problem coffee drinker. I drink it all day long until I go to bed and I couldn't count the number of cups.

I love the smell of coffee, but not the liquid. I think it smells better than it tastes. I get my caffine from the ice tea I drink . I drink iced tea even in winter. What do you expect a G.R.I.T.S. to drink! :D

When I was growing up we never drank coffee. I still don't have a coffee machine at my parents house. My girlfriend drinks alot and I've only started drinking it in college. Probably drink 3-4 cups a week.

anywhere from 2 cups to maybe 6 a day - that number is slowly increasing though as my addiction sets in. I don't work until 4 p.m. so I get to enjoy time at home with coffee and a book. usually make coffee here (fair trade/organic only) or buy it at one of the umpteen coffee shops within a couple of blocks of me. have been drinking a lot of tea lately as well, mostly green but some black tea now and then to keep me goin at work (since the coffee at work is NASTY). I've pretty much given up pop - just have one now and then with pizza or snack food.
