Discovery show

#8 Postby hurricanetrack » Wed Nov 02, 2005 11:23 pm

Hey everyone- it was cool to see the whole season like that on Discovery. I had a great experience working with NBC to produce my segment on Wilma. Also note that our own Mike Watkins, who is still without power, was in there for a few seconds too! Big Mike! His two sons will love seeing their dad on Discovery Channel.

They did a great job on the documentary and the people I worked with were top notch. Yet it was scary to see so much mayhem throughout the Basin this season- yikes! And to think we ONLY get six months to relax before it all starts again.

Thanks- the DVD is in production now and is quite impressive so far, if I may say so myself. I have some new things in it this time to help enhance it. It should be ready before Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the enthusiasm for our work.

what shocked me the most is when they said hurricane season will cost up to $400 BILLION in property damage.when has there ever been a hurricane season that cost half of the federal budget?
