Anyone wants to see pictures of my yorkie Lacey?

As you may know, I have been struggling over the loss over my yorkie Lacey. She was put to sleep on June 30th due to kidney failure. She was 13 and I had her since she was 6 weeks old. I did not think I would take the loss this hard, but I did. It was just like losing a family member. But, if you want to see 2 pictures of her, you can go to http://www.yorkietalk.com. Click the photo gallery at the main page. Then, click on members photos. My member name is the same I use here; cajungal. One picture is Lacey dressed as clown for Halloween. She was at the park for the annual HOPE for animals. She was 9 years old in that photo. The second one was when she was only a year old.

So sorry for your loss. She was a real cutie.
Pets are like family members and it hurts real bad when you lose them.

Yes, Lacey was spoiled rotten. We treated her more like a child than a dog. I miss her more than anything. No other dog will ever replace Lacey. But, we are looking for another yorkie puppy and hoping to have one in time for Christmas. But, we only want a female. And haven't been able to find one in our local area or price range. Female yorkies usually are no less than $700 and some as much as $2000! We only want a yorkie though. I placed an internet ad for my local area, and still have not had much luck. I have been checking the classifieds every day. My mom and I got hooked on the breed ever since we got Lacey. Not only are they adorable, but super smart. And really sweet. They like nothing better than to lay in your lap all day.

My mother was the same way when she lost her dachshund(wiener dog) named Son he was 11 and also had kidney failure. My dad thought they should get another dog to help fill the void. She said all she wanted was another dachshund. It took them a while but was able to find one, well 2 they got 2 sisters. Son was a boy, but they went ahead and got the girls. It helped them so much, to deal with the the loss of Son. You will never replace Lacey, but it does do wonders for the heart and mind to get another dog. I hope you guys can find one soon. It helps to heal the heart. Good luck, and when you find your new family member let us know, and post a picture. :D
