How I met my wife.....(Attn:Josephine96)

Did I mention that I met my wife at Wal-Mart? Here is how it happened....

I was working overnight maitainence and she worked in softlines answering phones. I would see her just before her shift started which was during my last break. I overhear her once saying to someone that she dumped the guy she was seeing. So, when Wal-Mart was starting up their bowling league at our bowling alley, I asked her to go with me. She said yes. We soon started getting serious and the rest it history. We got married February 12, 2000.

I met my hubby on a blind date 31 + years ago. No it was not love at first sight. We dated 4 years before we got married. I was only 15 when we met. I guess he was my first and only true love and I still fell that way about him.

I love how suddenly everyone thinks I'm "looking" again.. I am not looking for anyone. It just so happens that Teresa and I have buried the hatchet {maybe} and I happen to sit with a group of young ladies each day on my lunch hour.

We're all just friends.. nothing more.. and will never be anything more because they are all taken.

In all seriousness..

My current boss in Produce.. actually got married at Wal Mart store #817.. the store just across town from here. Kinda interesting. Guess that just shows how much he likes or at least tolerates the company lol

I have been working at Sears for the last 6 years and I never dated anybody that works there. I never got involved with a customer either. Most if not all seem to come in with their wife or kids. The last guy I sort of went out with that worked with me got killed in a car wreck the next morning. I don't actually call it a date. We just went out for dancing and drinks. Ended up spending the night and to make a long story short, yeah something happened. That I am not proud of. That was 6 years ago and I was leaving his house, he got killed in a car wreck on the way to work. Only 15 minutes after me leaving, so I was the last one to see him alive. Then, I found out at the funeral, he was still a married man. He even lied on his job application that said he was divorced. So, I was shocked. November 19th will mark 6 years of his death.

So, ever since then, I never got involved with someone at work. There are only 2 guys that I find attractive at work and they are both dating someone.

Dave and I met at my first tae kwon do tournament in 1985. I was a white belt and my best friend had just kicked me full in the face. Out of the blue, Dave shows up with an ice bag and the rest is history.

Is that countrier than falling in love at a K-Mart store?
