That's my goal Luis, to be able to speak, understand and write in Spanish, it's actually a pretty easy language.......except one *little* thing, the "a's and o's", masculine, female, now THAT I'm kinda having a hard time with!
Linda, sign language IS a language so yeah, you know 2 different ones!

Here we go again...I speak, write and read English, Old Saxon/alter bayerisch, deutsch, provencal, francais, espanol, lingua romana, and am working on intermediate Pocckye (Russian).
I can understand Italian (many Latin cognates), Norsk and Dansk; engage in some conversation with them, but have trouble reading them.
'Nuff said.

Si`, me also! LOL! I'm in the process of learning Spanish via a GREAT program, it's a 10 cd series...doing pretty good! I figure with ALL the immigrants we have in Az, particulary PINETOP now, one HAS to KNOW Spanish!

Muy Bueno!!!

It's an easy language to learn, but like everything else, if you don't use it, you lose it! Italian is very similar. I started that in Middle School in NY, but unfortunately when I moved to NJ, they didn't offer it. It was easy to convert to it though.

Speak fluently? -- One --> English ( and sometimes that is debateable)
My accent is too atrocious when speaking Spanish or attempting French. .
Read and Write (other than English) -- Spanish, some French and I can muddle my way through reading most Romance (Latin based) languages.

English, enough French to maybe get by, a tiny tiny bit of Spanish and a little bit of Egyptian colliquial Arabic (something I tried to teach myself once - before I got completely flustered trying to learn the alphabet - and plan on taking up again).
Actually, isn't there a government program that gives grants to students who want to become fluent in Arabic?
