Alpha still easily discernible. Is there a chance she gets whipped into the mainland?

The convection on the far southestern side looks strange - is it baroclinic or what?

Nope... Wilma will have him/her as a snack tomorrow.

Note the cold air clouds on the backside of Wilma... WOW. It's beginning to look a lot like winter. :D

That is rather startling!
I hope it's genuine.. well the link is.
02:32z and it still has 2 eyes!

This is one of those incredible pics that is worthy of a giant mural/poster.
Hey Storm2K, see what it would cost to license this image from NASA...
Could make some bucks on t-shirts, posters, etc.
Just come up with some catchy or clever phrase/comment to put with it.
Any tropical weather watcher should love it!

Okay, I'm not great at image doctoring, there are people here much better at it than me, but here goes!

Great idea, Tronbunny! :D I hope they look into that. It stopped me in my tracks for a minute when I first saw it, then I promptly saved it for posterity. Going along on Wilma's Wild Ride was definitely an experience I'll never forget! :shocked!:

Here's another good one, that can be interpreted to kinda look like a mermaid/siren.
