Shreveport getting pounded with rain.

We're getting a pretty decent rainstorm, with loud thunder...where's this come from???

Shannon, there is a seasonally strong cold front passing through your region today. Popcorn looking isolated showers and thunderstorms occurring across general frontal zone.

The 3:53 PM CT temperatures in Tyler, Texas and Monroe, Louisiana were 69 and 85 degrees, respectively.

Tyler and Monroe's dewpoints were 64 and 71 degrees, respectively.

Kathy, you guys sound sooo dry...I would love to send some rain your way. We're not getting TOO much, but like the perfect amount to "green" everything up....going on a friends party barge tonight for a moonlight dinner cruise down the Red River...the rain CAN stay away tonight!

furluvcats, we are absolutely parched down here in Lafayette. There really hasn't been any rain in May and our last good soaking was early arpil! :o The next chance of rain here is not until sunday night into monday, hopefully it will actually materialize as our past chances has never come through.
