I don't know if this has been answered, but am wondering what type of conditions, ie winds and rain that we may expect. Will we have sustained hurricane force winds? I know Wilma is big and we are on the southeast side where it is suppose to be bad. Katrina was a Cat 1 and we had quite a bit of damage. thank you.

Thank you for the reply. I have been looking for this info all day and haven't seen it answered anywhere else. Derek, when you say "well over 100" what are you thinking? I know you can't say for sure, but what are your thoughts? What are your thoughts as to sustained winds? Thanks in advance. Just trying to be as prepared as possible!

Skeetobite has an awesome graphic for the windfield. From that (link below), it seems that all of Dade will be in for sustained hurricane force winds, including us here in Homestead/FL City.
