I just would like to state calmly and politely that there is no need for anyone to get too terribly heated over this or any other issue. We do have what could be a tense yet serious situation developing here..

Lets all be calm and guide each other through it..

Right on. I agree wholeheartedly. I'm not getting heated at all....just very, very tired of this storm. Let it come and do what it will and leave us alone, already! And my invitation extends to you...if you want to chat off the boards, feel free to email me anytime.

I would guess mostly F-0s or F-1s, but an isolated stronger one can't be ruled out. Once this gets closer (tomorrow) we should get a better idea of how shear and instability will develop to create a favorable atmosphere for tornadoes and how strong they should be.

Severe weather is by far a stronger suit for me over hurricanes, so I can handle that aspect much better :D

The problem in hurricanes is tornadoes are VERY hard to pick out on radar... so you may get a tornado with little or no warning, whereas, in a severe weather outbreak, you would have 15-20 minutes or more of warning.

I can imagine. I don't see too many hurricanes here in Memphis  so I'm not as good there. You have to deal with both there unfortunately.

Do you guys think I could at least see hurricane force gusts on Monday.. or even sustained..?

or is that only gonna happen if the track jerks north again..

I highly doubt you get any hurricane force sustained winds. You will be on the north side, and away from the eyewall as well. Perhaps a few gusts.
