Southbound cold front timing vs. Wilma's eastward movement

Still sitting in West Palm Beach illogically hoping the cold front will steer the storm further south, based on Wilma's extended loitering around Mexico.. Any thoughts?

Wow! Great minds think alike!

According to the current weather map the cold front is already into north Florida.!

How can the cane move into this cooler air? Or will this front stall and become a high speed rail for the hurricane to move south of it into Florida.

Wilma is not supposed to be here till Monday.

Wont this cooler air force it south of Florida if this cold front moves south?

I've been looking at this trough that is supposed to barrel it's way into the GOM and it appears to be meeting resistance this afternoon. You can see it digging just about to the northern Gulf coast then the dry air is being pushed eastward more than southward.

Look at the water vapor loop. Could it not dig down as much as expected?
