Eye collapsing, could be filled in the next hour. She is bitting land really hard, tomorrow will be a critical day for us in Florida (I mean today, 12:40 AM!).

I don't think she will make it if she is in this area for another 12-18 hours

Any pro met or educated observations here? What is going on and what will it do? This one has got a lot of people stumped. I feel terrible for the people living in the YP and the rest of that penn.

everybody stop and pay homage to the death of a legend, some of us may never see a stronger storm in our lifetime. I may eat these words but i don't think she will leave the peninsula a hurricane, nor cause anything more than a wet and breezy weekend in FL. She is starting to look ill

I doubt most here understand what has happened in the last 24 hrs in areas such as Cozumel and Cancun.

Imagine at the minimum tropical force winds, and most likely hurricane force winds for almost 24hrs straight.

Beyond insane.

Looks like she might just sit there and die!!!!! doesn't look like there will be much of her left when she moves into the Gulf.
