well half of it is over land...still a whole lot over water pumping in energy, weakening is not as fast as it would be completely over land

According to this IR Loop it loosk like the Eye of Wilma wobbled wetward and made landfall on the NE Yucatan coastline!

Check it out! It looks like it hooked west around the North side of Cozumel and then made landfall on the coast.
