A picture of a huge wedge tornado approaching a body of water.

During the Monsoon, Thunderstorms like these form everyday near the Arizona Mountains...Here is what would look like in the evening..Note how high the base is?

Those would be the Tucson Mountains

west of the City since storms back our way tend to have lower bases. Good concept on the artwork, but need much more lightning<g>. I prefer to put my artistic talents to work on film-some of my work can be seen on my homepage-go to Potpourri and then the Art Gallery.

After looking at it again, I can barely make out the tornado in the second pic, Kevin.

Nice work Kevin!!! In case you didn't know, Pawlee is an artist also and has his own site. It is available from our home page in the Members site's section. I agree with Pawlee on the going for the series.

hey thanks for the props! i don't do much digital artwork nor really have any on my site however have enough experience with photoshop to appreciate the time and thought that goes into creating a work.

for monsoondude: i think you ought to consider creating digital wx backdrops and then superimposing foreground images such as people, animals or objects to complete a theme. kind of like how many people did with their personal photos in the gallery, the possibilities for splicing images in layers is endless!!! p

Pawlee your art is SWEET and AMAZING! I do Digital / Computer Art using Adobe Photo Shop 7 and Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7. I really like your pencil drawings very professional!
Kevin nice Job....Yes I agee you need to add some lighting and perhaps light up the background to show the Tornado better..might I suggest IN CLOUD lightning :) that would be a kewl FX ;)
