This poll should have "<870" instead of "<860". It would have been better to add another option or more the top (at the very least, "930s" followed by ">940"). Not that it's likely to weaken too much more (in fact, I think this is headed for strengthening). But sub-870 is basically impossible, and sub-900 is unlikely with such a big eyewall. I say 900s.

I'm sorry but I dont understand what some of you are thinking that put anything greater than 920. for sure she is going to strengthen ...I dunno how much but I'm not seeing the weakening some of you are.

can someone explain what they are thinking? (I dont mean to sound insulting of your opinion at all btw. just a bit surprised and very interested to see what you mean)

What are yall thinking, voting <860mb. THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN. I will eat a three-course meal of crow if it does happen...but it won't. There's no way Wilma will beat the world's most intense hurricane ever by more than 10mb. won't happen.

I'm not 100% sold on if this eyewall is going to hold. She's been struggling to completely clear the eye out completely with convection firing inside.

The inner eyewall and its remaining convection is holding strong, and that is why I am conservative and said 910's. It could go lower, though probably not below 900 again. Give it 6 to 12 more hours and the replacement cycle should be complete.

She may peak tonight around 915, but by 5 am she will have enough land interaction to disrupt the core. The ERC has been taking it's toll and she does not seem able to close off the new 35nm eye, per recon. The larger eye has had a harder time tightening the pressure gradient. Keep in mind what we are taking about here and keep it in perspective, Andrew went in at 921.

yeah your right about the land interaction messing with her by tomorrow morning.

Andrew however was in an area of high pressures surrounding it. Wilma is in an area of unusually low pressure surrounding it meaning that Wilma's pressure to wind ratio will be lower than that of Andrews
