Cyclonic loops..

to this untrained eye, the loops..still present, seem to be showing an overall more northwesterly heading. Am I seeing things right on the latest visible floater loop? TheShrimper.

Yep, despite the loops, it seems to be following the forecast points quite well. I definitely think there's more of a north component than there used to be.
