Important questions and observations

#1 Postby StormFury » Wed Oct 19, 2005 2:55 pm

Could someone post ALL of the forecast models (global and tropical)?

by the way...

Why has Wilma not begun to move NW yet?
What is up with the latest GFS and GFDL tracks stalling Wilma near the Yucatan?
I just heard that there is going to be a press conference by Max Mayfield where the possibility of a stall will be announced!
How will this possibility of a stall affect the new 5 PM track?
Could Florida be spared again?

4:45 PM=News Conference National Hurricane Center w/Max Mayfield

Comments please!
Someone please try to attempt to answer these questions. This forum seems a bit dead this afternoon (no new analysis, just recycled information).

I believe he will give the 5pm discussion and advisory to the general public. Go over the track, with empahsis on the storm surge potential. I t will very informative to people who dont come to storm2k.org for his info.

Storm Fury...

There is a storm threatening life and property, rather near the CONUS, that has characteristics that we've never quite observed before.

Some of the models that we heavily rely upon, have spit out confusing/conflicting solutions.

We're all just watching and waiting until information can be observed that can make us more sure of our predictions.

The word "we" can be applied to our esteemed scientists, professionals and amateurs, alike.

Friend said he heard on radio it is because the whole scenario is changing? Whatever that means.
