The official nonofficial forecast

#1 Postby gpickett00 » Mon Oct 17, 2005 10:49 pm

The following post is NOT an official forecast and should not be used as such. It is just the opinion of the poster and may or may not be backed by sound meteorological data. It is NOT endorsed by any professional institution including storm2k.org For Official Information please refer to the NHC and NWS products.

One of my first tracking maps. A little unorthodox, but thats how I like it.

Before I read the thing about mark up maps I took a lot of time to overlay the google maps, so I stuck with it. MAPS ARE A PRODUCT OF GOOGLE, NOT GPICKETT00

Tell me what you think!!!!!!

Edit: I meant to make the friday forecast point a little more southeast that it currently is, meaning NE quad goes to Key West.

Um, I don't like it - I'm gonna get a lot of it :) Actually, it looks plausible, but only time will tell.

If its a cat 3 use one color for that category ect for all the rest.Don't use two colors signafying a cat 3 to cat 4. Just an opinion. It gets confusing and the reds look all the same atleast on my computer.

like your map, its as good as anything else and there is no skinny line. think you are a bit to far east in the first 48-60 but after that it seems reasonable.

Nice job. You have Wilma off the East Coast on late Saturday. That's faster than some of the models.
