Storm season over for Texas?
According to Dr. Neil Frank, the Ch. 11, Houston weather guy, the latest recorded tropical storm was Oct.17 in 1938 and the latest hurricane Oct 16, 1912 in Texas. Of course, this is an unusual year!

stick a fork in it....its done until next year. Neil did forget to mention Jerry in 89 which was a Oct storm into Galveston. Then again Jerry was a cat1 and about the size of Galveston bay. I would forget too....wasnt much to it......
