Hey Pilar good job getting promoted. The Atlantic is having many a depression but they don't count. GOOD JOB PILAR WAHOO!!! 4 more in we will be tied!

Oh I see. :D It's that you when a new named storm comes out you usually create a new thread like "TS Pilar,Comments,Models,Satpics Thread".

Man, what a waste of a name. I had always though Pilar was going to be a strong cane.

This has got to be the wackiest season ever with 16 in EPAC and 20 in ATL.

Thanks for the heads-up. :D It has been edited.

BTW Matt-hurricanewatcher - EPAC has no chance. Atlantic shall dominate for the rest of the season. :grrr:

I'm still hoping for a CPAC comeback, it could happen yet!


Back on subject . . .
I have no idea how this is a TS. I guess this is what happens to all the little tiny measly storms out in the EPAC, they get named out of pity.

Have you looked at satellite? It looks 10 times better then 24 right now. It has a large area of convection over it...With a 2.5 t. This could still get strong if it can get away from shear like Jova.

I guess it depends on what you call "good." Circular, yes to both. Dense center, Pilar, ok. Deep convection: 24, and Pilar is a little lacking there, barely any red colr, much less a lot of gray. I guess it's enough for a TS in both instances.

it has been retained as a tropical depression and has not been upgraded to Pilar as of 11. Thread title needs to be changed
