Gfdl certainly likes the chances of this system--looks like the atmosphere will be ideal for development the next 2-4 days. After a w-wsw slow motion it bends to the North which is typical of Mid-October canes in this area--I think this has an excellent shot at cane status and a good shot at major to intense status.
