Storms Just starting in Northern Texas, South Oklahoma

#1 Postby Nalora » Mon May 19, 2003 5:14 pm

Well, not much to tell you guys here, the winds have shifted, but it is none cooler yet here in the city, but as I suspected, the storms are blossoming in Texas and way southern Oklahoma. If I get anything it will be in the next 2 hours, they say.

Been watching your storms all day off and on. The dynamics of the storms in Florida leave me guessing all the time. At least ours build, boom and GO AWAY.

Ok, I cant give you pretty pics from the backyard but here are some digitals of my TV screen, and the 6 pm news/forecast. heh

Here is the slight lowering of the circulation from Lexington, Oklahoma, they are not concerned, however because the cold front is undercutting it.

The seabreeze boundaries collide right around the Lake/Sumter county line during late Monday afternoon into Tuesday evening.

As I mentioned in another thread, there was a north to south cell which was severe (in Lake county, Florida) after 5:00pm ET that moved south and then southwestward and another cell that was weaker and moved toward my area from the southwest, moving northeasterly through western Sumter county.
