Alpha? (second edition)

#1 Postby wxwatcher91 » Mon Oct 10, 2005 2:51 pm

ok we have Vince so that puts us a step closer. all that's left is Wilma and then we have Alpha!

personally I wouldnt be surprised to see Gamma this season... but that's just me.

also at this point I'd say the question is not "if" but WHEN Alpha will form. I'll go as far as to say 90% chance we see Alpha this season

----anyway the last few sentences obviously were my opinion. what about yours? here's the second edition of "Alpha?" to see if any opinions have changed.

I think the Alpha storm will occur at the end of the month...but if Wilma comes out of that mess in the Caribbean, a week earlier.

I moved it up from Nov. 15-30 to Nov. 1-15. But I think we could see it earlier.

Last part of the month, but we could definitely see Alpha before then. Wouldn't surprise me, really.

Depends when we get Wilma. If we get Wilma within the next week or two wouldn't be surprised if Alpha formes within a week of Nov 1 either way.

We might have Alpha by Wednesday/Thursday if TD 22 can become Wilma before merging with the front and 97L develops.

I think if the shear lets up 97L should develop in the Central Atlantic while being a threat only to the fishes.
