Could be worse, she could be bringing home a cat.

OMG, KEVIN!! YOU JINXED MEEEEE!!! UNBELIEVABLE. LOL, LOL, LOL

You posted that at 9:06 p.m. last night. She came home at 9:15 p.m. with two little four week old kittens. Seems a lady came in to PetsMart yesterday and asked them if they took kittens. When they told her "Sorry, not from individuals" she snuck them to the back of the store and put them in one of the crates that was for sale and left. What people will do is unbelievable.

They need homes - they're only 4 weeks but they don't have their momma anyway.

See, if I worked there I would have done the same. Your house a soon to be zoo. Thanks to people like you and your daughter though lots of animals get saved daily. I think it is wonderful, but I am sure its two more mouths you weren't prepared to feed. Hopefully they get along with pop tart as the rat gets older. Since they are all babies they may just be best friends.

How long has your daughter worked at PetSmart? Just curious. Is this the begining of things to come? LOL. Keep us posted on pop tart and the kitties situation since they are all still in need of alot of attention. I guess you will be bottle feeding the kitties for a few weeks eh? Sounds like fun, but alot of work. Good luck to your family and the little animals that your daughter took under her wing. :D

She's only been working there for a couple of months. Like I said before, I think her job is gonna cost us money :D .

Yes, we are beginning to have a zoo, and yes, this is a sign of things to come. I'm really proud of her dad for tolerating all this. Don't know what surprises we'll have next  .

Pop Tart is a cute rat (yes, I said it "cute rat" - I know, it's an oxymoron ). Pop Tart is black and white. She tilts her head side to side like Stevie Wonder when he sings. Nicole accidentally fell asleep with her and when she woke up an hour later, Pop Tart was still curled up asleep in the crook of her arm.

The kittens are drinking from a saucer, so thank goodness we don't have to bottle feed. Won't be long before they are eating solids well. If anyone knows of someone who needs a kitten, pm me.

Yeah that...

Does Pop Tart enjoy a Pop Tart for a snack by chance?

Pop Tart seems like she'll eat anything - lol. But to be honest, don't know why she was named that. Haven't tried to feed her a pop tart yet. I'll let you know as soon as we get another box in the house.

I don't buy Pop Tarts much because they are left half-eaten. I'm not sure if the kids really like them or if it's just a novelty. They taste better if you toast them with butter.
