I voted yes. Unfortunately, the chance of this being a Caribbean or GOM storm is extremely high this time of year...

this poll is very discomforting because storms that form in the SW Caribbean in Oct./Nov. typically move northwest into the GOM and affect the U.S

And those cold fronts that turn them NE into the FL West Coast...like
the 1921 Major Storm that hit Tampa Bay.
I am more vigilant now and through November than I was ever
before-- simply based on these cold fronts and Carribean storms.

Eh, I think the Caribbean will probably see some more tropical storms, but I'd be more inclined to look for a major hurricane out in the middle of the Atlantic, along the lines of Maria, during the rest of this season. Vince isn't quite what I had in mind though.

I say no. I think there will be another hurricane, but not a major one.
