Will the season end on Dec. 1?
No real reason for a message body, I suspect.
Okay, this has been a crazy season, and it's October and we are at T with a probably V coming up. Everyone is waiting for December 1 to come along to end this wretched season.
But what's that to stop storms from forming? Why December 1? We've had storms inch over into December before.
What do y'all think - will there be any out-of-season storms? Would they still be called tropical storms, or would they be called something else?

But this is JMO. We will see.
However there is a climatological tropical cyclone formation declivity starting in mid-October.
I should add- Given 2005's proclivity....
2005 has shattered climatology...whether or not it continues to
do so remains to be seen...Hopefully we can get some very strong
fronts to cool SSTs down...

I am suprised at how posting on all threads thats its over, done like you have some power and you know for sure. You were already proven wrong when you said Vince probably wont form.
I think the season is winding down but things could still pop and reek havoc on places very quickly. Lets not let our guard down.
