Yes Storm Cancel And because of this I changed the title of thread the same I did with the title of 94L as no model runs for both haved been out since last night.

94 will be absorbed into the larger circulation of 95L, which has some possibilities, but is up against 40-60kt shear. Globals seem to tend towards fish, and Bamms (not worth the data they use up) tend towards non-recurve. Y'all be the judge.

To get back on topic you have to admit we have had A LOT of rain in the past 48 hours with some sunshine thrown in. I heard we had 2-3 inches between 5-7:30 this morning and Vanderbilt Beach (my area) had up to 5 inches since midnight. (at 7:45). It has been raining steadily since then but no wind at all.

So you were correct a couple days ago-a rain maker.

I expect that strengthening will be less and slower than I previously said... however, the latest shear charts show that shear is starting to decrease in the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Also, shear is now much lower than previously in Florida and parts of the Bahamas, although conditions are surely not optimal for fast development. See below...


I think it is weak, yes, and closer to gone... however, I do not think it is dead. Remember that people were saying that the INVEST that developed into Stan was probably dead because it was disorganized at first and that the INVEST that became TD 19 would ultimately strengthen, and look what happened...

I am not expecting a hurricane or very strong system out of INVEST.93L; however, I don't quite think we should write it off ENTIRELY yet... I just have that feeling. We shall see...

ROUND OF HEAVY CONVECTION BETWEEN W CUBA AND THE GULF OF
HONDURAS. THIS AREA ALSO APPEARS TO BE PARTLY FORCED BY AN AREA
OF UPPER LEVEL SPEED DIVERGENCE AT THE ENTRANCE REGION OF A JET
THAT EXTENDS NWD INTO FLORIDA. SCATTERED STRONG CONVECTION FROM
15N-22N BETWEEN 80W-84W.

I'm guessing we had more rain because we are right on the coast but it rained almost all night and early morning. I don't have a rain gauge anymore as it was run over by a lawn mower so I can't confirm. I'm just repeating NBC-I know, take it with a grain of salt- but we know Jim Syoen doesn't exaggerate anything!!!!

I've seen this statement numerous times this season.

I would bet that it is NOT over as this has been a historic season and will not end for a while.

I base this only on the fact that just when we think there is a lull, another one pops up.
Until we go a couple of weeks with nothing........I expect something!

Besides, we have come this far.... I want to see "Alpha"
May they alll be FISH...
But I WANT ALPHA!!!!
