I would think the blow up of the part still in the Atlantic needs to be watched by SC, NC, Mid Atlantic and Northeast...Those west of the Mississipi may not need to watch.

I found that latest under short term forecasts - you may have to scroll down to find yours if there happens to be one - those are only for when you might get some storms or heavy rain, something like that - otherwise check the zone or discussion for your area. If there is a short term you might want to check out the warnings or special statements if it mention sever storms.
