Talked to bfez1 (A moderator and great friend here at storm2k) who is still homeless from the storm and she asked me to post this

The storm surge pic is awesome. Have been to St. Bernard Parish and have seen the damage. Lower St. Bernard has been wiped off the map with bare existence that anything was once there. Upper St. Bernard took a devastating hit too; much of it will have to be plowed.

thats scene was played out on the mississippi coast also.remember the the christmas tsunami footage? they look identical

My husband got pictures of this area while Katrina was hitting and they were hard to digest but that one is just unreal. SCARY!
