22. Tammy would have been 21.

Tammy wasn't classified as a T.D. It went straight to tropical storm status.

Do they still skip a number though?

Yes they will skip 21 and yes I know Tammy wasn't a TD.

It's happened before.

SATELLITE IMAGES AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATE THAT THE AREA OF
DISTURBED WEATHER IN THE EXTREME NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA AND
NORTHEASTERN YUCATAN HAS CHANGED LITTLE IN ORGANIZATION DURING THE
PAST SEVERAL HOURS. ALTOUGH SURFACES PRESSURES ARE LOW IN THE
AREA...UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE NOT CONDUCIVE FOR A RAPID DEVELOPMENT.
THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST
SPREADING HEAVY RAINS AND GUSTY WINDS OVER WESTERN CUBA.

Tammy is AL212005... unless I jumpted to a conclusion. j/k, it is indeed "21".

We have what looks like the next tropical depression (93 L). Unfortunately, the NHC does not want to admit its a tropical depression and will have to call it TS Vince in its first advisory similar to what happened with Tammy!

Tampa Bay Met Dennis Phillips (ABC) says that their "Titan" system shows 93L just off of T-Bay tomorrow evening as more of a rain maker than anything else. Titan was right on with the track of Tammy.

This system bears watching for those of us along the W. FL Coast. Bring on the rain, but no wind, please!

No, an indication of shear and disorganization, not an indication of where the storm is going.

Can someone tell me what the position is of 93L? I don't want to have to weed through all these post to find it. also are there any T-numbers for this yet?

Wow! that was harsh. You seem like a WISH-CASTER, especially after I saw one of your earlier comments where you wrote something like "So it's not heading to Tampa? :( "

No... it's very disorganized and appears to be sheared. It seems to be running out of time to do much of significance. Looking more and more like a big rain event for Florida...
