Looks like the cold fronts are going to deflect most everything away from us 9here in the Panhandle)...we sure could use some rain but to be honest, it's been breezy and sunny most every day for the last week or so and that's been kinda nice...

Good -- I wonder if it's safe to take the wood off my windows now. I think I'm getting that winter darkness disease Also, my stepdaughter is getting married on the beach in Gulf Shores this weekend --- we really don't want that storm that's coming into the gulf to ruin Saturday. So does everything really look OK for the rest of the season for our area?

I would think it is still too early to tell. Better to be safe than sorry - and you won't have to put them back up if something else comes your way. Hopefully not and I bet the odds are against it now but this season has been full of surprises!

I'd take down the plywood. Heard too many stories about people getting killed by housefires when they shouldn't have because boarded up windows kept them from escaping like they'd normally be able to.
