TROPICAL STORM TAMMY IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE MOVING TO THE NW/NNW
TOWARD THE GA COAST BY LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY TOMORROW /SEE LATEST
NHC ADVISORIES FOR DETAILS/. THERE WILL BE SOME THREAT FOR ROTATING
STORMS N/NE OF THE CENTER WHERE L0W-LEVEL SHEAR WILL BE
STRONGEST...AND AN ISOLATED TORNADO OR TWO COULD OCCUR LATER TODAY
INTO TONIGHT

NHC is forecasting it to move north then NW due to a high pressure system.

no way does it make it back out to sea. Maybe Savannah is as far north as it gets.

Skidaway Island
Gusty winds...constant rain....moderate....like a new england NorEaster, only warmer.....even the storm has a comma head appearance like the noreasters....noted that the storm is strengthening in the NHC update at 2pm. Don' t see how this could get a lot stronger....Bastardi says, I hear, minimal hurricane....is this thing really a true tropical storm?

Yes, it has TS force winds, but it's not really tropical.
