The nice sideways slap of 35-40 mph wind on A1A between condos around 5pm today was a treat. Morning was squally; spent the early afternoon on beach cleanup and baby turtle washback patrol; then evening became squally again on the way back to Cocoa Beach from the turtle place in Melbourne (20 loggerheads and 2 green turtles saved today
).
The sky over the ocean right now is telling us that we're in for an interesting night as this wave continues to pass over. More junk from the cruise ships due to wash up in droves, as well as the little cutie pie turtles.
