Interesting way to put it. I do wonder what will happen if a tropical storm or hurricane Tammy moves into the gulf. I'd want to ask her, Tammy, Please don't hit the Florida Peninsula.

I dunno for sure. I think I feel pretty convinced that it wont be a very strong tropical cyclone impacting us, if it comes here at all.

My wife's name is Tammy. If the next storm is anything like her namesake she will be very gentle sweet and kind, only affecting areas that are dry with very little wind and only a moderate amount of rain. :)

I hope you're right. I've met a few women/girls named Tammy (though with many different spellings), and haven't had any problems with them, but hurricanes may be a different matter.

Um, what possible reason would you have for that? Rita and Katrina both were Cat 5s in the Gulf, why would this one be weak?

because the pro-mets on this board says so. And I would take their expertise over anybody else's on this board anyday. Remember I said I dont expect it to be a strong "tropical" cyclone. That being said, it could be a very strong non-tropical cyclone.

I would not be surprised to see another hurricane develop in this area. It has been the breeding ground for the worst hurricanes this season.

Someone on another board said the models reminded him of Elena. To which I reminded him that that name is still banned for use here in West Central Florida. What a mess that storm made for not even making landfall.

Definitely newlyweds LOL. Wait until you've been married 22 yrs....then we'll see if you say that about her.

Just Kidding. I feel the same way about my wife after all these years.

Cool, I'm looking forward to seeing what it will be like in 16 years. If the first 6 are any indication they'll be great.
