lol reminds me of those dome homes I've seen. I'm not sure I'd live in a small confined thing like that...I think people would get claustrophobic! Especially when a Cat 5 rolls in, what if that thing unhitches and rolls you down Main Ave with 200mph winds? lol No thanks...I'll just head for higher ground

I'll take the US flag model (so I is visable) plus 2 M2 guns and the radar extras and throw in the video camera (so I can watch the neighbour get hurled through the air)... heck I can always rent it out during bike week!

I am not sure whether I want to be in such thing when the surge comes.

Wonder how hot is it inside when the sun comes out...

Should help you against wind-borne projectiles, but there surely are cheaper/simpler solutions....

When the surge comes it a propeller comes out the back, and it becomes a submarine. :P

Never knew this exsisted. Would be great for the wind. But for surge? Not so sure. Could be water tight, I don't know. But then how long before you run out of oxegyn? I don't know they seem a little scary to me. I think I would just evacuate :)

Apparently you didn't read far enough!! They have a marine model :)
Maybe there could be the Hurricane Combo...converts to the marine model in high surges...

I'm sure if I had one in my backyard, my neighbors would call Scully and Mulder on me.

Then you haven't seen everything.

What happens when you try to get out and the structure is surrounded by all kinds of stuff during the hurricane and you can't open the door.
