are u for real? I dunno about that cause most of the pro mets feel that it will be subtropical at the very best and I find it hard to argue against them. Who knows though.

Dixie,

I really do not believe it will become a TD that quickly, if at all.

I wasnt being rude. I was just telling her that many of the pro mets I talked to today, feel that it wont become tropical and Im just telling what they told me. Please leave me out of that cause it never involved me

I don't think you are being rude at all. Another uncessary thread is being made here, by someone who will do it no matter what she is told.

Dixie first on what base you are saying that by 2 AM on octoober 4th it will be a TD? And second that 1008 mb pressure is what I posted at the 92L thread when the models came out as NRL puts the model information of the pressure and initial position at the pics.

One of our local mets on CBS, David Bernard (he came from N.O.) just said that there is the potential there for development into a depression with the next 24ish hours or so.

The tropical wave could become a tropical depression by Wednesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Judging by the nature of the question that starts this thread I think Dixie is asking will we have a TD by 2:00am Oct 4th. I would say probably not but tomorrow could very well be a different story according to the Hurricane center.
