There were a huuuge number of tornado warnings for Mississippi when Rita came through.

Friend of mine was sleeping, wife driving when they drove into an F0 in northern Michigan a few years ago. It was obscured in rain and they didn't see it until they drove into it. It was similar in size to the one reported above, small enough that it did no real damage to the 3/4 ton Ford they were in, but they did wind up in the oncoming lane.

Updated to include several more touchdowns in the BMX CWA...total confirmed now 57.

Longest Track---------13.8 miles (Tuscaloosa Co., AL)
Strongest Tornado----F3 (Tensas Parish, LA)
Widest Tornado-------800 yds (Jefferson Co., MS and Humphreys/Sunflower Co., MS)
Please note that I'm only including tornadoes confirmed by the NWSFOs and NOT through media reports, though that's not to say they won't be confirmed later.

Surveys are nearing completion across the mid- and deep-south.
As of 1830z Monday, a total of 57 tornadoes have been confirmed as a result of Hurricane Rita. This leaves Rita in fourth place on the list of the most tornado-producing US tropical cyclones of all time.

Yeah, the video was quite impressive...however, if it didn't hit anything at it's peak intensity and F1 damage was the only thing that was observed, that's what rating it would (and did) receive. Such is the nature of the Fujita scale...
