Are you on the Atlantic name lists? Or are you "retired

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Nope. My real name starts with a T. And we rarely get to the T's at all. And my name has never been on the hurricane list. If we get to the T storm this year. It is Tammy. And my name is not Tammy. My real name is Trisha or Trish. Whatever you prefer to call me.

It caused significant damage in Scandanavia as an extratropical storm, turned extratropical at an unbelievably northern latitude and came close to making landfall in Scandanavia as a tropical system. Also was one of the top five longest lasting TC's on record.

EDIT: Wikipedia article on this tenacious storm, low was tracked as far north as Franz Josef Land, which is about 300 miles from the North Pole.

Another William here. I don't mind getting to Alpha this year, but hopefully we won't get to my name any time in the future.

My mom's name is Janet, which was retired in 1955, before she was even born.

We had my name (Matthew) last year. It was a weak one, but I experienced the outer eastern fringe of the storm in some light rainfall. I'll be back for 2010. :D

I'm Lisa. I've been a hurricane twice - first in 1998 and second was last year. I was a fish both times
