It doesn't matter (Army or Marines) active, reserve, guard... they are not hitting their recruitment goals. AF active is hitting, but just barely. The AF Reserve/Guard component is really the only branch of the service hitting recruitment/retainment goals... however we are just barely squeaking by.
All branches of the service are over here... Active, Reserve and guard. With Katrina/Rita every guard squadron is down to a skeleton crew. A good majority are getting extended orders that way they don't have to clear out a whole unit from stateside bases.
