What's your lat/long?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

It was a sticky...but rather a lot of more important information came on and the space was needed 8-)

A couple of fabulous board members have taken it on themselves to provide these locations on google maps, which during storms actually became really wonderful in being able to pinpoint who among us might be affected by storms. They are pretty old posts now...but a check of mtm posts would find them or...in the nasty event of new storms, they will come up again. I hope that doesn't happen...again. Hope and pray, truthfully...

mtm is saying, "Man, what did you go and bump this up for? Now I have to start updating the maps again. Doh!"

j/k - It's cool to see where everyone is from, especially - like you stated - the newer ones. 8-)

Actually, I am glad to see this brought back up and hopefully the map will be updated with new info. This sure helped when Rita hit, trying to keep track of all the members here.

Now that hurricane season is almost over, shouldn't this thread be a sticky again?
