Trend?

#1 Postby quandary » Thu Sep 29, 2005 12:22 am

We have so far had back to back "Most Destruction Years."

2004, with Ivan, Charley, Frances, Jeanne and also Alex and Gaston caused more damage than any other season before it, nearly $50 billion and more than the 1992 season, the previous record holder.

Now 2005 comes along and makes 2004 seem like the good old days. Katrina, stronger than any storm since 1969's Camille and Rita. Both Cat 5s deep in to the 900s and 890s.
