By the way this is not a panic attack: It is absurd to consture this as
such. This is merely a meteorological prognostication.

If this nightmare non-recurve scenario materializes:

West Coast Floridians and E GOMers better hope there's no cold fronts
7-9 days down the line to bring anything the monster ridge
carried over from the CV wave train toward us once it crosses
the carribean by 8 days from now or so.

But then again, people already impacted should hope for cold fronts
to protect them.

It is going to be crazy.

although the massive ridge will be in place by the end of the week we are aproaching October and typically these ridges erode/breakdown quicker than if we were in August.

Will this be the strongest ridge so far this season? The weather pattern doesn't recognize Oct right around the corner.

this is supposed to be the strongest ridge of the season, and if anything does develop off of africa it will be heading towards florida unless it dips south towards the GOM.

I think he is referring to the fact almost everyone here is saavy enough to know what the ridge means, and you are too new to realize that. The obvious does not need to be stated here, assume you are speaking to an educated audience.

Aw take it easy on the newbies! What is obvious today was not so a year ago, and less the year before. State the obvious and not so obvious and everyone learns. Welcome to the forum!
