Too Bad you can't put the scary face picture on ebay like they did with the jesus face on the sandwich. I guess its a good thing we saw a scary evil face and not Jesus' face since hurricanes do evil and not good.

Hey I have an boiled egg that I cut in half and both halves are in the shape of a heart. I put them in the freezer to keep. Wonder if I could sell them on ebay? mmm? Any bidders? LOL

It looks like Rita is angry that Louisiana is already in the rebuilding stage. Maybe she's upset that she didn't live up to Katrina with the whole Houston scenario...

Looks like the face is looking at New Orleans. Not a very nice looking face.... :grrr:

I have to side with the bill gates or urkle. This thing has glasses, and a big fat nose. Looks almost alienish, but isn't that what Bill Gates is?

Humans report seeing patterns all the time. Heck the 9/11 case of faces in the smoke is easily described as just an illuision. So many puffs of smoke created faces. This is why its easy to see a face everywhere. Eyes, a nose, and a mouth can all be circles. Eyes circles, Nose a circle, and even the mouth can be PART of a circle, whether it be top or botom making a smile or frown. That is why the face is easily seen. As for Mr. Krabs. Yes, I see him in the purple. The whole Krabs. I see the tea kettle, and I see the thunbs up in the bahamas. Maybe they are glad that the next hurricane will miss them. lol. Just to the north of the altostratus near the purple you can see a face. It has eyes, a nose, and a chin and mouth. With a hood around the head. yes, its there, but it doesn't mean anything. Someone would see that and go, OMG its the Virgin Mary!!! But its all illusion.

Remember the 9/11 pictures of the "devil" face(s) in the tower smoke? I read an article linked from one of those stories as to how most peoples' brains "look" for familiar patterns. The face is one of the images most likely to be "seen" by this search. Myself, I have it pretty strong - I can look at walls, fabrics, clouds, etc and quickly "see" numerous heads and faces. Some are spooky, but I see cartoonish ones, too.

It's funny how everyone sees something different. The only thing I can see in the picture is a old man with a mustache, like ol man winter. I don't see nothing in the purple area, only in the red/orange area in the middle of it, and it looks to be quit detailed.......... Steve Erkel :lol:

Its odd how everyone seems to see a different kind of face... I see a face with a kind of a mustache, kind of pointy face. Dont see glasses though.

Well, what has happened in that blob is that a low pressure area had formed since yesterday. It isn't anything significant to worry about at this point in time, but we always need to watch surface lows in the GOM!
