Very hard for storms to recurve, the gfs shows a monster ridge across the entire atlantic spreading far to the south, any weaknesses in the ridge will be hard to find. I think this ridge is supposed to last between 1-2 weeks. What I don't know is if it will make things more favorable out there for tropical development?
