Ahhh, and I thought I'd be the first to call Cameron, LA. Hey, I called Lake Charles, LA over two days ago! :D Beaumont to Lake Charles will be the areas that suffer the heaviest damage....unfortunately, this is a pretty populated area. My prayers to them tonight....

Nothing official and certainly not representing that it is, but I think you will find a little towns of Lake Arthur and Jennings, Louisiana, as having the direct hit...just east of the eyewall.

Cameron, LA and that is also the concensus of all the mets on the cable channels right now. (Might be a tad bit more to the right IMHO.)

We STILL don't have cable but I hope it's not Beaumont. That where southerngale (Kelly) lives. Anyone hear the outcome of her exodus? Last I heard she was being asked to evacuate again from Jasper and the motel owners just left some extra towels and left them to their own devices.

TV 2 is calling for landfall around Sabine Pass in about 3 hours (3:30 EDT)
