That Air-Drop/Absorbency Dyno-Guy on Radio...

#1 Postby HurriCat » Fri Sep 23, 2005 3:21 pm

Here in Orlando, FL, on 540am, (4:20pm EST) we have that guy blabbing about how easy his Dyno-powder/etc will wipe out hurricane power. The host is buying it all, including claims of having "affected storms" in testing. He also claims that "planes are standing by". He's whining about how if only the government would help him out... :D

Yea this joker was fox news 2 nights ago yapping about this issue i was going to save this topic until after rita was gone but this guy was showing us on tv about how this will turn water into gel and try out the hurricane but one thing they couldn't answer is what happens to all that gel in the ocean of the gulf for that matter and was upset because the gov won't fund his project if im not mistakin he want 50 million from the gov to pay for it. Now that is rediculous .

i work with a similiar material at work and it is used in diapers to absorb moisture. It works really good and i could see where they would like to fight canes with it but its some nasty stuff.Unless they have a different version then you do not want it in the water!!! We have to wear gloves, goggles and respirators when coming into contact with it.When it gets wet its like a ball of jello and is very slippery and nasty.

Even if they have a safer cleaner version there is a much higher risk.

Huirricanes provide a service to the WORLD and that is to evacuate heat from the tropics and disperse the energy stored in the oceans.Talk about global warming lets stop all hurricanes until the water temps hit the upper 90's and the worlds oceans become a boiling mass that kills fish and marine life until a super storm forms that even dyno-mat can't stop and it has 95+ water to work with what do we do then?!?!?!?!?!?

50 million could be a close bet.We get it in 1 ton bags that are made of some synthetic burlap material and each bag cost round 6,000$ so if you think about how much it would take to dry up a huge hurricane then the cost is almost as bad as a storm that hits land(with the exception of majors)

I'm now a believer!!! Something is weaking these storms...The goverment likely is not some little thing like this. But something is.

It is not shear
It is not dry air
It is not anything weather wise
It is not dynogal
It is the goverment doing something.

I'm a believer!!! Jesus forgive me for not believeing. I can't believe whats going on.

I really don't agree with it because it will mess up the rest of the world. Why O why can't people build away from the coast.

Come on man. Look at the water vapor loop. That's an awful lot of dry air surrounding the storm.
