An hour and a half is more like it! It is only about 15 miles from landfall. It is moving at about 10-11 mph.

But don't forget everyone, the surge is still gonna be a.........bad one.... Will maintain alot of the momentum from when she was stronger.

It's so great to be back but I surely don't understand why certain people insist on correcting the ProMets!!!! Anything can happen-still. We are very fortunate to have them as members of our family. Let's keep them here and learn from their expertise.

Based on Lake Charles radar, the center is about 60 miles offshore. System has been moving just over 10mph, so 5 to six hours is about right for landfall of the center.

Well I hope I didn't give the impression that I was minimizing this ... it's a strong Cat 3 and I expect it to maintain that - that's a major event.
